1. Lets start with the Simple Motion Switch.
The Simple Motion Switch is ideal for locations such as the laundry room, pantry, closet or even bathroom. Determine where you would like to install your switch. Then watch the video to walk you through the install and setup.
2. Now let’s download the Deako app
You'll need to download the Deako app in order to set up and manage your smart switches. Click the link below to download the app, create your account, then come back here for the next step.
3. Time for your first Smart Switch
Let's install it on your front porch light. Later, you can set up the sunrise/sunset feature so you never come home to a dark house.
4. Let's connect it to the app
The Deako app will walk you through pairing the Smart Switch. With the Deako app, you can now control and customize your home’s lighting to fit your lifestyle.
5. A dimmer should be easy now
The dimmer installs just like a Smart Switch with added dimming control.
6. Now let’s install a multiway light switch
Smart Switches can be used in multiways. A multiway is when more than one switch controls a single light, such as stairs, hallways, and rooms with more than one entry. Identify a similar location in your home and let’s get started by watching the video.
If you purchased additional Smart Dimmers, then this is an optional step to install them in multiways
Like Smart Switches, Smart Dimmers can also be used in multiways. Create the perfect ambiance by installing Deako smart dimmers in your living room or dining room.
